Pink power smoothie

A dramatic blend of berries, mango, loaded with nutrients and bonus tropical vibes for any time of the year.

Equipment

  • High speed blender

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup blueberries- fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup chopped mango- fresh or frozen
  • 5 strawberries- can be fresh or frozen
  • 1 green apple sliced- do not need to peel
  • 1/2 cup red dragon fruit- I used frozen optional- adds intense color
  • 3/4 cup plant based milk- almond or soy work well
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes- if using fresh fruit
  • 2 Tbsp chia seeds optional

Instructions
 

  • Add all the above ingredients to the blender. Always add the liquid first, helps lighten the load on the blender motor.
    If using a high speed blender, run the smoothie cycle which should be little less than a minute and enjoy the smoothie cold.
    If using normal blender, take your time, keep blending for 2-3 min, for a slushy consistency.
    Frozen fruits give a slushy consistency and you can skip adding ice.

Notes

You can even add fresh coconut water to the smoothie to enrich it with many electrolytes.
