Fruitalicious mini smoothie bowl bar- no added sugar, vegan, kid favorite.
We have a habit of drinking a smoothie every afternoon for few years now, no matter what the season is. I guess, the prolonged period of drinking smoothies even though of different varieties, my kids are looking for ways to skip it. So I had to look for more creative ways to renovate their daily smoothie/ fruit intake time. All this recipe needs is the patience to cut the fruits and you will enjoy this smoothie bowl bar equally with your kids.
The traditional smoothie bowls , I feel are too over sized and even if extra sugar is not added, they are still high in glucose and need to be taken in slowly, not like a cereal bowl. So I decided to cut down the size of the smoothie and encourage more toppings, or save space for next flavor of smoothie if they are too appetizing.
Here you go… get ready to get the kids lip smacking smoothie bowls they won’t refuse.

Instructions
- Cut your toppings first, and save them lined up on a tray.
- Pick the smoothies you want to make, and just add those ingredients to blender to make one smoothie at a time. Blend smoothly till a nice slushy texture is attained. If making all three, Wash your blender jar between each smoothie. Take the smoothies into different 2-3 oz cups.
- Let the kids have fun picking their color of smoothie and the toppings of their choice. My 4 year old finished two 3 oz cups and spent a good 30 min exploring toppings. I promise you will be asked by your kids to make this again.
