Chocolate is always on the list of foods that humans crave. Scientifically the addictive potential is not proven yet, but chocolate gets ingredients such as tryptophan from cacao, which effect our mood. Most chocolate based dips on the market unfortunately have lots of added sugars, often oil, and other processed unwanted ingredients, which theoretically can lead to addictive potential.

How about we create a chocolate dip, that you can keep on eating, with no second thoughts and still feel immensely good ? This dip is simple to make, and is a perfect blend of just five main whole foods. Naturally sweetened and nutrition wise wholesome, you cannot go wrong with this dip. The base of the dip comes from a good portion of almonds and the humble sweet potato. (No kidding! it works). Dates with their iron and fiber richness are the healthiest sweetener that you can use. So, nothing but dates are used for the sweet tooth fix in this recipe.

Then a final touch of balsamic vinegar was included, because it is sweet and adds very subtle tartness. Plus, balsamic vinegar is known to improve blood pressure, cholesterol and digestive health.

Make the dip in advance and keep it on hand when you crave for chocolate. Use it on practically to top or dip anything remotely in the dessert category.
